Who We Are
Acadiana Veterinary Surgery, LLC was founded in 2014 when the need for board-certified specialized surgical procedures was recognized in the South, Central, and Southwest areas of Louisiana.
Acadiana Veterinary Surgery was created as a way for owners and their pets to have access to a board-certified small animal surgeon close to home. All procedures are performed in the operating room of the primary veterinarian, allowing pets to undergo specialized surgery in a clinic in which they are familiar, which minimizes stress for the owner and the patient.
When Acadiana Veterinary Surgery was established in the heart of Cajun Country, we didn’t realize that our service area would grow like it has. So, although our name is Acadiana, we proudly provide service to small animal clinics in Lafayette, Lake Charles, Alexandria, and throughout the state of Louisiana; we even get a few cases from surrounding states.
